Doing International Bacon Day The Right Way


The Saturday before Labor Day is a day designated as the annual International Bacon Day.  We want to hear how YOU will be celebrating International Bacon Day this year.  It is a holiday that is so big and so unofficial that it is celebrated on two Day’s September 2nd and December 30th.  Bacon sales have climbed since 2011 making it a nearly $4 billion industry in the United States alone.


Celebrations typically include Social Gatherings during which participants create and consume dishes containing bacon, including bacon-themed breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, and drinks.  What will you be doing to Celebrate This fine swine of a day?


Bacon is so delicious, that it deserved its own holiday,  this is one of the most popular unofficial holidays.   Started in 2000 by a group of students from Bedford, Massachusetts  organized the first celebration of Bacon Day and started a Blog to promote the holiday. Just in a couple of years event became very popular.
